My Story: a family tradition centered around Oysters and Seafood
“I come from a Norman and Breton family with a long-standing passion for the sea. For several generations, my parents and grandparents have worked closely with marine products—fishing, oyster farming, or even selling shellfish. From a young age, I was immersed in the briny scent of the ports and the hustle and bustle of the fish markets.
Every morning, I watched my relatives meet with local producers, negotiate the best fish at the auction, and hand-pick the finest oysters directly from the oyster beds. They taught me to appreciate quality, respect freshness, and, above all, take pride in introducing customers to the very best the sea has to offer.
Over time, I learned to recognize the subtle nuances of different oyster varieties, the texture of a freshly caught lobster, and the distinct aroma of a scallop in season. This training, rooted in tradition and expertise, inspired me to continue the family business in my own way.
Today, I have carried on the legacy by creating my own company dedicated to selling oysters and seafood while preserving the values that have always guided us—rigorous selection, traceability, and a deep respect for local terroir. We also offer seafood platters.
My ambition is to uphold this family tradition while adapting to the modern era: developing oyster sales in Majorca, providing fast delivery service, offering my shucking and advisory services to culinary professionals, and embracing responsible fishing practices. In doing so, I hope to give every customer the authentic experience I inherited, passing on my passion for the riches of our coasts.
Having spent the last ten years in Majorca, I have developed the expertise to clearly understand my clients’ needs and offer them personalized advice.”
